Discovery Channel Celebrates Its 34th Annual Shark Week

It's the 34th year of the Discovery Channel's “Shark Week” extravaganza. To celebrate the legendary event, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the first-ever Master of Ceremonies. Comedian Tracy Morgan is interviewing a diver who lost two limbs. Shark diving expert Jimi Partington stars in “Great White Open Ocean” where he encounters a shark. Also, the guys from “Impractical Jokers” will be starring in their own segment.

Also as a person who's study Church basically their entire life not a shark expert but sharks in my passion I used to like shark week because it would actually teach people now it's just another TV show reality TV show basically at this point and it really doesn't teach much about actual sharks it really doesn't bring White sharks anymore it actually does more harm for sharks than good but if I'm not mistaken shark week was originally designed to help people better understand sharks now they're just doing it for views for watch time so they can get money out of it so it doesn't even do the sharks any good

I miss eating delicious Shark Fin Soup harvested from by catch.

The key to eating shark is to gut them right away, and tow the carcass at low speed for about 10-15 min to get rid of the urea and rinse it out, and then dump them in ice & eat inside of 2days.

The meat turns fast, but it’s good when it’s fresh. Sharkskin is good too once properly treated.
