A video I really worked hard for. A video that took ages to make and ages to render and upload on YouTube. About the selection of the goals; it wasn't easy at all. It's difficult to chose between 697 goals, and as a huge Messi fan I almost like everyone of them in it's own way. Some criteria I considered were the type of goal, the opponent, the stage of the match, where Leo Messi started his action (the further from goal, the more incredible I find them), ... Also Free Kicks are difficult to chose! I could easily make a list of 25 free kick goals who were just incredible. Anyway, enjoy this video and let me know if you liked it!

Number 5 just hits me on such a personal level. I was in the Nou Camp for that goal, it was my first time ever time watching Messi play Live and I have never seen or felt anything thats within the same galaxy to that, it was as if he wasn’t even real it felt like I was watching a God he didn’t seem real it was if he was levitating. I’ve been extremely lucky to watch both him and Cristiano and as much respect as I have for Ronaldo I didn’t feel special in anyway watching him, I knew I was watching a great player but that’s all it felt like Messi on the other hand was an experience I wish everybody who loves football could experience because I know I will never forget that game and every time I’ll see that goal for the rest of my life shivers will be sent down my spine and it will instantly take me back to that moment.

The debate of who is the GOAT in football was over a long time ago, and anyone who is a pure football fan and has been watching Messi simply knows this to be a fact. As a teenager, I lived in Barcelona during the Cruyff years and became a lifelong Barca fan (being from the US, futbol was not very popular). I have watched Messi from afar for more than a decade and am amazed by his bursts off speed, vision, touch, quick feet, left leg, and determination. I find Messis' skills mesmerizing. I don't get bored watching over and over again the goals he makes. Whether its free kicks or facing the whole defense on his own. And to top it off I laugh at how he nutmegs the defense and scores which just cracks me up. I am happy that he finally won the coveted World Cup. Thank you for this amazing video
