i disagree, i thought soyeon was pretty open and honest with others. she was one of the few girls on the show to actually communicate how she was feeling and whether or not she liked someone, whereas most people were always vague and never openly rejected/accepted the guys on the show. i do think sometimes she got emotional or felt sensitive, which she admitted to, and things came out different then the intention. i think it’s also possible that she was a little insecure/jealous of jiyeon at times, because though not on purpose, both of the guys that soyeon were interested in became interested in jiyeon (or wanted to talk to her) and that stings a little

Yaewon was my fave she looks like an older sister that everyone wants but I also liked ji yeon I find her cute and she seems kinda innocent

I don't think jia was boring at all. She was very good at flirting after all it is a dating show and you have to give some content for viewers to watch it was rather she made the show more interesting and you can't expect from her to choose a partner after knowing them for only one day and she dropped many hints that she was not interested in sihun.

Hey hey hey, jiyeon was the most honest with her feelings on the show. She rejected sehun cuz she didn’t want to give false hope. At the end we can see her personality, her fav food etc. i wouldn’t call her boring it’s just that she wasn’t trying hard at the beginning, but the moment she started wanting to understand and get closer to sehun she aced that mf game as if she was fighting for her life. The fact that she and sehun got together at the end made me not regret watching the show.

Nooo I really liked Jiyeon, she's actually so clear-headed and intelligent. She's the real girl boss who didn't need anyone to like her. Even though she fits the Korean beauty standard and a lot of guys said in the beginning that she's their ideal type, she never led anyone on or flirted with anyone she's not interested in. When she felt uncomfortable with Sehoon in the beginning she really set her boundaries and got the message clear to him. She also was proactive when she finds someone she's interested, like Jintaek, but she let go quickly when she realised that he's flirting with Soyeon and not interested in her anymore (Unlike Soyeon who got weird after Jintaek went to paradise with Jiyeon). I think she's best girl (Together with Yaewon)

Soyeon: Likable person but manipulative when things don’t go how she wants them to go
Jia: Tbh….unproblematic, she understood that it was just a show and went into it optimistically…didn’t think she was boring…very good at flirting
Jiyeon: poor girl never got what she really wanted…people made her look like a damsel in distress which is not her at all…didn’t like sehoon just tolerated him
Minji: Liked her…wished she got more screen time….wanted to see her interact with someone who actually liked her
Sumin: Nice but boring to me
Yea won: Literally an Angel..nice body, face, and great personality….how guys just brushed pasted her is beyond me.

I feel like Jia did say what she feels... in her own way at least lmao. And let's be honest, no one really rejected anyone on that show except for Sehoon to Minji and Soyeon maybe, as well as Jiyeon to Sehoon initially (albeit not verbally) 😭 but Jia dropped a lot of hints to Sihun that she wasn't that into him right after their paradise date and her talk with Hyeonjoong, and came close to actually verbally rejecting him when he asked to speak to her once more before he was like "show me through your eyes". I think he was her second choice initially but that went down the drain after their date in paradise and she just became more sure of it as time passed (in the campfire, she even answers that she's certain with one person already). Sihun went to her in the finale knowing damn well he had no chances 💀

She liked Hyeonjoong and that was pretty clear and consistent to me since ep 1, but I think she might have been a bit swayed because her ideal type suddenly came in through the form of Hyunseung lmao. But it felt short lived and more like just a teenage crush instead of an "I actually like you" kind of thing? All she really says to him and about him is that he's her ideal type and doesn't miss to say "appearance wise" 😭 Whereas with Hyeonjoong she says stuff like they have chemistry, a lot of similarities, (even when he wasn't there to listen) and even actual direct stuff involving her feelings and giving him assurance which she doesn't do with the other two. She even tells Hyeonjoong that she missed him and thought of him before going to bed while she was in paradise with another man (Hyunseung) and told Soyeon something along the lines of "you went to paradise with the same person twice, how lucky" so I think she meant it. I mean, most of the girls got swayed by Hyunseung, the only difference is that he went after Jia so she had him as a choice unlike the others so I wouldn't really hold it against her, but ultimately I feel like each time she spent with either Sihun or Hyunseung only made her realize more and more that the one who she really likes is Hyeonjoong.

Yeawon the most underrated girl on the show...actually hilarious, really smart, and sexy. Her body was better than anyone's and she was the most all around solid various reasons....I actually liked Jiyeon as I think she was so super sweet. All my opinions of course

I don't find Jiyeon boring. In fact she is interesting. Beauty and brains and quite reserved, but have her own opinion and know what she wants. Sihun's expression when he learned about her studying neuroscience in University of Toronto is quite off. It gave me the impression that he got intimidated or not used to girl who's not into fashion. Yeawon is the unproblematic and funny one. I like her personality, too bad for little screentime. She said she lacked screen time because she's not talking about dating only and has no drama. She seems down to earth. Soyeon is smart and kind of manipulative. She is still a beauty and strong. I admire her honesty. Sumin and minji were added too late in the show to get to know them better, too bad. Jia, Yes she is beautiful. Flirty too, but I find her dates boring. Honestly I skip her parts because all I see is her with the boys and their never ending talk about admiring each other's looks and sexiness. I don't see depth in their conversation, except with Sihun, when they talk about his chance with her and her turning him down because she likes Hyeunjoong more. I admire her honesty and confidence.

I agree with the ratings overall. Jiyeon was reserved and didn't really contribute much to the show and partially bc Sehoon made her so uncomfy in the beginning? Idk. But it was cool learning how she is a neuroscience student. I'd want to be friends w/her in real life and the other girl contestants :)
There should've been more athletic challenges bc I know Yeawon and Soyeon would dominate

It's obvious that JIA didnt really like anyone but for the sake of the show, she just went along with it. She's not new with guys falling for her, giving her attention and here, it's just the same. Maybe Jia was laughing her ass off silently after seeing the other people in the island trying way to hard to find love for just 9 days 😂 Jia is not boring, she just doesnt give a fuck.
