Tribute to the memorable bass solo on the Manowar´s debut album Battle Hymns. This is an adaptation by Joey DeMaio for the classic composition by Rossini - William Tell Overture.
Played fingerstyle (Pizzicatto), diferently from DeMaio´s approach with the pick.

Wow. OK, so, 1) somehow i've been listening to this song for 30 years, and despite being a huge basshead, it not once occurred to me that it's a bass solo until about 30 seconds before i clicked on this video.

2) you did absolutely fantastically, even mimicing every part of it that sounds like a mistake on the original recording

3) i wonder what it would sound like if it didn't sound like there were a lot of mistakes made during it
