Climate issues pouring in for India’s winemakers

The cultivation and harvesting of grapes in tropical country like India require specific kinds of climatic conditions. Trouble is pouring for viticulture practices due to erratic rainfall and receding summers. These changing climatic conditions pose as a direct challenge to wine making industries too. Winemakers in India are now experimenting with heat and disease-tolerant varieties and migrating to cooler climatic conditions and adopting new viticulture practices along with studying the micro and miso climate to adapt to the changing environment and keep their businesses afloat.
