Man this thing notifies me when I’ve parked, and they are still in my pocket. Literally every time. It’s annoying 😂

I have a real story. The first day I used my brand new AirPods Pro, the first time I put them in my pocket and went to eat out, my AirPods fell out of my jacket pocket. Luckily, an honest person turned them in to the honest cashier. When Find My alerted me 6 miles away from the restaurant, we turned the car around and drove back. My wife had told me when we left home to leave them at the house. She is the smart one! But I had setup the AirPods Pro on my iPhone 12 Pro Max as soon as I pulled them out of the box. Hey, it really really works!

It applies to the iPhone 11 series too mate. They have the U1 chip too, and I get noti every time I leave behind my AirTags and ipad.

Why not just notify when airpods gets disconnected from phone? This can be implemented on any version of iphone.

Is this feature applicable if you leave one or both AirPods somewhere without the case, the case being with you? Will the iPhone notify you then?
