SUN Meeting February 4, 2021 - TTCC & Zoom

Stand Up Newfound founders Deb and Bryan Richardson start off the meeting by talking about the Newfound Drug Taskforce and their needs assessment and about Newfound school's dilemma about budget cuts and their effect on the kids in the area. Also talked about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and their rise due to the pandemic and the connection with abusing/misusing substances such as marijuana, opioids, and alcohol. Also, some talk about training and commercials relating to substances will be part of future events.
