I am an RPCV (Nicaragua 1993-1995). Great tips for living as a PC Volunteer! I did a lot of those myself in Nicaragua. That mosquito net was a LIFE SAVER. Glad you pointed out things that most people don't realize how much protection (in addition to the bugs) like in my case; protected from mice, rats, bats and scorpions. Cool video.

Very interesting!

I’m curious- what about security? If you don’t mind my asking- what do you do (if anything) about securing your hut when you aren’t home or when you are asleep?

How close are your closest neighbors?

RPCV Senegal 15-18. Great video! Are those rice sacks sewn together on your roof as a protective barrier?

You should have way more views and subscribers. I don’t live in a hut, but I’d like to incorporate the recycling tip into my life in America.

What are those lights you have in the bed with the mosquito net portion of the video? Solar powered lights??

Thank u but u didn't mention outdoor solar panels and I think lighting candles indoor s could be an unsafe fire hazard, just saying.

I'm triggered by the throwing the trash down the pit latrine! In Ethiopia that's a big no no, you don't want it to fill up faster than needed lol
