Recycling should be like the 3rd or 4th conversation to have. We must reduce reduce reduce first... Not generating plastic trash should be our absolute priority #1. Filling our grocery stores with aisles and aisles of plastic packaging, then trying to recycle them after the fact is a folly.

UBQ should tell the world straight: "We aren't saving a planet, darn it! We're making a business here!"

Biodegradable over 5000 years is not biodegradable relevant to human life.

If it's patented technology then it doesn't have tostay hidden. If it's a patent then it's publicly available information...
Do you mean proprietary?

$30 trillion? Global wealth is just over $250 trillion... that means they’re spending $6 for EVERY PIECE of plastic ?? Isn’t that a typing error? Lmfao

"Humanities addiction to [plastic]", you know, if companies would stop using it, people would stop buying it. Google "Only 10 companies control almost every large food and beverage brand in the world". If these companies would stop using single use plastics, this would have a massive positive impact on the problem.

well I am glad there are some new technologies, honestly what is going on with the environment, plastics and the world is crazy and shocking how many people do not even care closing their eyes on ecology. imagine if majority of people would become eco-friendly and essentialists / minimalists?

Seperating plastics might be easier to seperate by using fluids of differing density in order to seperate plastics according to their buoyancy

Trade secrets are not the same as patents. Patents expire. Trade secrets do not expire.
