FARMING - The Blocks Update is now out! All the crops, bushes and trees are now 100% block-based. Check it out now, load up all your farms and enjoy endless fields of fun.

Make sure you update all your crops and bushes by walking near them and breaking any entity-based trees; you can use the sapling it drops to replant and grow the new blocky trees!

This looks great! Back in February when they announced add-ons I was hoping that someone would make a farming add on so to see it happen so soon is great! Out of curiosity though, how do you actually get the seeds/saplings for these crops in a survival world?

Love this so far and can't wait to get it! My main suggestion that I haven't seen yet is to add black tea (maybe even other styles of black tea, by making a "tea blend" in a crafting table and then brewing with that). Right now you only have green tea leaves, and one herbal tea, and I think that adding something like that would be nice. (If you're wondering, my favorite black tea is vanilla chai spice.)
I would also suggest more sandwiches, and soft tacos/burritos, crunchy tacos (suggested recipe: put soft tortilla in furnace for crunchy taco shell), and maybe even nachos (suggested recipe: make chips by putting just crunchy shell in crafting)! Preferably customizable since not everybody likes the same thing. Breakfast burritos would work well as a burrito recipe (soft tortilla, beef, egg and cheese).
One last thing: I saw someone suggest adding limes, if you do, you could totally put that with an avocado to make Guacamole.
I really hope this was helpful, and I can't wait to finally play with this add-on soon!

The only thing its the trees they are a little bit flat but out of that 10/10

I would love to see pots, pans, plates, etc that can be placed and used to make food. Maybe some more cakes and different sweets like cupcakes and donuts. I really want to see a stove or even a microwave which sounds silly but that’s awesome. A cutting board and knives that can be placed would be cool to have too.

ok so summary of peoples ideas:

1 fix tree texture: maybe more natural greens browns oranges reds involved and less ‘upward pointing ’ look on all the branches and leaves

2 we want to place and display the foods. maybe even have crates too and maybe. dishes and silverware. also kitchen appliances Might be the thing to make a kitchen more interactive. maybe even add a special container to harvest liwuids instead of buckets and glass bottles, maybe add cups(which again to be displayed) that can be filled. like when you added tin cans to contain fruits

3 add things like herbs and spices (go all harvest moon on it) we allk know that was coming

We've used this for the past 3-4 weeks on our new realm and it is making everything very laggy. It is much loved by some of our players, including myself... but sadly I'm going to have to remove it as we have some of our members no longer playing with us due to the lag it is causing. I hope that this can be looked into and solved so that we can use it again in the future.

I just posted a review of this pack, I love the variety of crops! And the additional animals are so fun! I echo the sentiment of making trees 3D but I did see your comment on another creator's video about working with Minecraft on this (or something to that effect 😅) I'm looking forward to future updates! My suggestion would be to make more food items placeable even jam jars for decoration, maybe some in a bundle to make a block look more full. Excited to see what else you might add

i knew when add ons debuted it was a matter of time but i expected a LOT longer wait. I CANT BELIEVE. i just hope these animals dont clash with the naturalist add on like the rwo deer i like these deer better AHHHH

i dont want cheat add ons just addition to lifestyle like this and deco craft etc. I wonder if thisll fill up a lot of my crafting options Or just a plus sign that expands. I hope someday minecraft makes a whole tab just for add on crafts because my realm members might get overwhelmed for my purchases
