Is this chapter that prevent in APUSH? The biggest take away is that Americans doing things to separate themselves from the British and the idea of freedom being tossed by Adams, Jefferson and Odis

1:05 the book says, elsewhere other than PA either embraced independence OR split into pro-British and Pro-independence faction. Pa nearly the entire prewar elite opposed independence. They fear cutting ties with Britain leading to ruling of "rabbles" and to attack on property. Pg 443
