The best part about PTCGO was the lack of microtransactions and the trading system. This gets rid of both of those. And not to mention the great visuals in PTCGO

The avatars on the side are weird. I think they should reflect the Pokémon design a little more, kind of like how they did it in unite. Just my opinion

They killed trading, destroyed unlimited and expanded, added a fuck you pass, and 3 kinds of currency. Fuck that noise.

Looks GREAT and I'm looking forward to diving into it but this would be the PERFECT Switch app. I've put tons of hours into PTCGO on my PC and iPad but know I would've poured into more in if I was able to play it on my couch/in bed with my Switch with a traditional handheld control scheme. PLEASE consider bringing it over! +1 on hoping we'll be able to transfer our card catalog from PTCGO as well. Congrats on the announcement! 🎉

Am I the only one that hates the new battle layout? The new animations look cool and all, but why is there so much unused space? They shrank the active pokemon and cut the bench in half even though there's a ton of open space that could easily be used.

Why remove legacy? Rather, I think we should add old cards such as the DP series.

why no trading though? I liked the fact I can help my friends with cards I had. In the new Game I cant do that anymore. Probably not even with the Booster Packs I bought myself.

Nice, they killed the trading part of the game and the legacy format AND made the game more expensive to get into, hooray! can't wait for the 2012 style 3d models instead of the 2011 cartoonish ones

We are witnessing the end of PTGO. I guess trading card games are only good irl as sooner or later their online version are ruined by greed.

Apparently this new online format isn't going to have player/player trading at all. Therefore destroying the best part on the online TRADING card game experience. Not to mention hugely inflating the price of playing online. Absolutely heartbroken and will not be playing if that is the case.

I might get hate for this but. This looks so p2w, and they even removed Trades, I'm not looking forward to this not even a bit, hopefully I'm wrong, and it is great.
