In this lecture, we will cover Class 7 geography NCERT chapter 2. "Inside our Earth" (Full Explanation)

In chapter 2, we will study about the layers inside the earth, and rocks and minerals. We will cover the various layers of the earth - crust, mantle and core. Then, we will also understand the properties of these layers. We will also study the mineral content and composition of these layers.

We will study about rocks and minerals. We will cover the various types of rocks - igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Then, we will also understand intrusive and extrusive igneous rocks. We will also study the properties and details of these rocks.

After that, we will cover the various uses of rocks. Then, we will understand the rock cycle in detail. We will study how rocks change from magma to igneous to sedimentary to metamorphic rocks. Lastly, we will cover what are minerals, and their common uses.

All the points of the chapter have been explained in a very easy manner. This way, it will be very simple to understand these concepts for class 7 exams, as well as, various competitive exams, like UPSC, bank PO, cds, ssc gl, etc.
