Before we get onto the description, I'm sure you have several questions that you need to know, so let's jump into the Q&A.
Q&A
Q1. Will you upload the entire albums or sing-along videos with these removed songs in them?
A. I have no plans to do so. I will instead upload only the removed songs individually.
Q2. Can you do the sing-along videos of these songs?
A. I might in the near future. I don't have a solid timeframe on when I'll do them yet.
Q3. Could you upload the Spanish version for each of the songs?
A. I don't have any of the Spanish cassettes and/or videos with the obscured songs in them as they are extremely hard to find these days. As of now, I cannot find anything online. If anyone has such a copy, I'd really appreciate it.
Q4. When are you going to upload the other missing songs?
A. I'll stick to the Sunday uploads for the next few weeks.
Q5. Will these missing songs be available for download?
A. That's something I might do in the near future, but I don't have a solid timeframe for that yet.
Q6. Why did you decide to archive the four obscured songs from Cedarmont Kids?
A. Archiving those on YouTube makes the songs easier to find for everyone who remembers these songs.
Q7. Why does the song play twice?
A. There are two formats for the song - stereo and split-track. Stereo is for great listening with slight variations between the left/right channels. Split-track is great for singing along (lyrics appear on screen) with the instruments on the left & the vocals on the right channel. There are different ways to adjust the audio balance depending on which device you're using.
Now onto the main description:
Yes, I'm planning to archive the four songs that have been removed from the Cedarmont Kids Classics albums including their stereo & split-track formats. They are:
-Let the Sunshine In, from "Sunday School Songs"
-I'm a Little Teapot, from "Toddler Tunes"
-The Hokey Pokey (this one), from "School Days" (rereleased as "Songs of America")
-Kookabura, from "Preschool Songs"
Overview:
This song was originally the 4th song in the audio release & the 10th song in the video release of "School Days". It was later removed in 2000. Two years later, "Songs of America" has replaced "School Days" with two additional songs - "Yankee Doodle" and "The Star-Spangled Banner". "School Days" was originally released in 1995 with a sing-along video version in 1998.
