Obviously Feld just needs to rent out both stadiums and build a section of track along the street that connects the two venues. They can call it the Monster Energy Super Stadium Cross World Championship of Seattle, brought to you by Monster Energy, available now at Costco.

Growing up racing in the Northwest. We are used to Mud, rocks and rutted out tracks. It separates the men from the boys and the race in Seattle this year was a blast to watch!

I think the question is... why didn't that stadium have a retractible roof when it was designed/built, seeing as it in Seattle?

58, 000 fans/tickets! WOW!

Great new upsate etc Josh. And cool to see your brother back and doing well. I was sure hoping he could get a decent ride and didn't disappear.

That shot of AP rolling out with everyone hyping him up is a good example of why Seattle is good where it’s at

You should have just showed video of the Kingdome being imploded, that answers the question right there. Not sure why it was so unpopular, I attended numerous events there, including Supercross on rainy February days.

There’s been years where it never rained. It’s just a little water 💦 😅

Fair play Josh, a well researched and presented explanation of why one venue is chosen over another. So many factors to take into consideration when you are in possession of the facts.

I think it’s great to have mud races. Being out with Mother Nature isn’t anything we can control but it’s an awesome experience as a fan to get soaked from head to toe watching these guys race. Absolutely no problem with those types of racing!!

MX bikes have something called an exhaust pipe. Ever notice when the lights come on after an indoor stadium rock concert? You can barely see the stage through the haze.

There seems to be a lot of new fans this year and they complain constantly

The trifecta has arrived

Supercross racing should mainly be in covered stadiums. Or scheduled so the open air stadiums are used on historically dryer weekends. Mud races are fine but realistically, for supercross, should be kept to a minimum. Mud races are for motocross.

The problem isn’t Seattle being a open stadium they’ve gone there for a while it’s all the other open stadium’s that’s the problem they got rid of some of the best stadiums

I live in Minneapolis we used to sell out the metrodome during the McGrath era once he retired the fans stopped showing up so ultimately they stopped coming after 04. Then 08 they showed back up it was an okay attendance Ryan Dungy raced his first 450 race but supercross reluctantly chose not to come back till 2013 to retire the Metrodome we sold it out it was peak Ryan Dungy and Ryan Villipoto best race ever....2017 arives supercross was back for US Bank stadium we sold out tje next two tears hardley the case so they did not come back for the next cupouple years.... again in 22 barely anyone showed up....in conclusion if the fans dont show they will not come to town even though Minneapolis used to be a staple on the tour
