Tomlin would make a good assistant, but I've seen no evidence he can compete against the Andy Reids of
the league . He's the coach and may
have the talent to prove me wrong .
With that said, I would have replaced
both he and Bill Cowher, after their Superbowl losses . No one should ever
forgive a Championship 🏆 looser . I
believe both of those Superbowls were
winnable and would have been won with Chuck Knoll or someone similar !

#1: Russell Wilson gives the Steelers the best chance to win
#2: Justin Fields is in the best position he could possibly be in [to learn/grow as an NFL player]
#3: The Chicago Bears are going to increasingly garner *more goodwill* among NFL players
#4: The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to get more respect among NFL players
#5: The Week 2 Broncos-Steelers game will be dramatic (especially if both teams are 1-0)

Russ gotta make coach Tomlin look good here for choosing him. Has to be decisive has to be aware of the play clock has to run an offense at a high level not just the passing game. Has to be aware of the snaps which will indicate to the defense. Has to continue to motion receivers but earlier in the play clock so he has time to assess the defense in case the defense is trying to disguise something. Has to attack the defense when it's disguising with some go balls or slants. Has to give his teammates an advantage and it's really going to take a team not just him

That's a professional Coach handling the situation the way it should be handled. Obviously I'm happy that Coach made Russ QB1. He made a football decision and kept the other shenanigans out of football related matters. It's a celebration moment for me as a fan of Russ.
