That closet should not be load bearing at all. Tear down that framing and you can fit everything behind that screen

A second row seating height calculator will help you calculate line of sight for eyeballs to screen if you really care…i used one and it worked out perfectly.

But I think you said it…it’s for you and row fun, so they can deal with it.

Instead of using acoustic panels, you could go with 3 inch thick mineral wool for dampening. Looking forward to the JTR speaker review !
