Brexit: Will UKIP benefit from the Brexit delay? - BBC Newsnight

Last time the European elections were fought, UKIP were victorious.

But they’ve changed direction under new leader Gerard Batten.

With the possibility of European elections soon, could they benefit from leave voters frustrated by the Brexit delay?

Or could others, including Nigel Farage’s new Brexit Party, take away votes?

UKIP have my vote that's for sure, the only political party that actually represents the British people. I respect Farage for what he has done regarding the Referendum and Brexit, but the Brexit party is nothing more than a single-issue party, it's in the name, where as UKIP are also defending free speech, they are calling for voting reform, they have a clear stance on immigration, and of course they want to deliver a real Brexit. We need to get Gerard Batten in Parliament, he'd call out every single one of those corrupt liars.

The BBC asks if "UKIP will benefit from the delay". They have been instrumental in helping that because of their bias reporting. For once they have done some good!

It's clear this bbc report is trying to portray ukip in a dim light, but then you read the comments below, majority if not all are very pro ukip. It seems the establishment are completely out of touch with the general publics opinion. Next general election should prove interesting. I say we're well overdue a shake up in uk politics. I see BBC Newnight producer Jake Morris also trying to do a "John Sweeney" hit job on Gerard Batten. He deliberately contacted former employees of Batten to see if he could dig up any dirt on him, but the employee sent Batten a copy of the Emails. Perhaps Morris and Sweeney should start their own little club? "The BBC political activists club". Seems to be a consistent theme here, eh "Aunty?" So much for impartial and unbiased. What a joke.
