Great product review! Been looking for something like this to accurately take temp readings if my kids get sick. Been using the in ear digital thermometer all this while, and they are not a huge fan of it.

I've seen other reviews for this product and it appears to always compensate by +0.1ºC so I guess If I need to rely on that margin, I will just do a -0.1ºC

Hi 2 Questions:
1. does it beam a visible light as well as the infra-red? I have one that shines a bright light that wakes my kid up when I try to measure him when his sick but a sleep.
2. does it make any beeps aside from the vibration? for the same reason.
