This is my theme for my college graduation invitations, classy, vintage and formal. Thanks for making the video!

I was suddenly fascinated by this just by seeing Lord Tywin Lannister of 'Game of Thrones' do this on his letters.

A Lannister one from Game of thrones would look insanely awesome.

I tried doing it without instruction and somehow decided to slowly light the wrong end with a lighter.... I got burned of course and I felt stupid upon realizing what that wick was for. Nice video!

Thanks! This will really help me with the seal for my invites for my Harry Potter themed 20th birthday party!

its because normal candles don't have the same amount of ingrediants so it doesn't drip as much and it cools much faster :) you can buy really cheap sealing wax on amazon though

I send a lot of handwritten notes and always include a copy of my business card and a logo sticker to seal the envelope. Now this... Going to order a wax stamp next week. Kicking things up a notch here in Wine Country.

does it have to be sealing wax or can you use a candle. I've just tried with a candle but it's not doin t properly it's just all sticking to the wax stamp. the wax your using looks way thicker

When I tried mine last night the wax was on fire when it landed on the paper.... What did I do wrong?

I have a problem, can you help?

I bought some sealing wax with a wick (NOT from your shop). I did what you were doing, and the wax caught on FIRE. Is this a sign of bad quality wax or did I do it wrong? The wax was also blackened by the fire, so it didnt make a pretty seal. The wax drops on the paper were still on fire until I extingushed them.

This wick method seems really dangerous. Right now I feel using a metal spoon is safer than melting straight from the wick.

Ahh awesome! I just did this (with another brand of sealing wax) and some of the flame dripped onto the envelope with the wax. Is this normal? I was afraid the paper would catch fire!

I was just wondering, isn't the seal supposed to be licked before applying on the wax?

Hi there, I tried using these but sometimes there is black from the smoke that drips onto the wax. Any idea how to avoid the black onto the wax?

Does it stay on securely as it's being tossed around in the postal system?

When the wax burns, does it smell? And is it toxic?

The smoke-blackened wax may cause the black problem. You should avoid it when you hold the wax, then it can be improved
