If you don't get it on the first slap just keep spamming it. After the key recovers from an unsuccessful slap, it has a HIGH chance of diving straight across the middle & as long as your spamming the button you'll get it. I've done this quest around 10-15 times & the above method has never failed & never taken more than 10 slaps to trigger.

Focus on the keyhole. The second it goes over it press X. Otherwise wait literally 10 seconds and it will hover for what seems like an eternity above the keyhole

You can also just cast Glacius or Arresto Momentum right before you click on it

I figured this out the other day and oh does it help so much. I also learned that after the keys in the second spot smack it and spam it as jts getting back up and itll go right in. Only works on the first set

Yeah I realised this on my second time following the bug to the keyhole. I feel bad for anyone who didn’t work this out themselves

I just changed the difficulty to easy and it makes the window huge then change it back after

You can also simply spam the button and itll get it when ever it flies next.

You can just map the Interact button and the slap button to the same key. Then you automatically slap upon interact.

I tried this on Xbox and it’s trickier and less likely but not to difficult to pull of. I’m talking about the trick he’s showing. The dandelion keys are hard to pull off.

That tip was discovered if you play it for at least 20 minutes. You will learn that you should probably press X pretty quickly.
