Working with parents like her that enable these behaviours is even harder than working with such a difficult child. Children are developing and can change, parents are much harder to change and educate.

When the mom said she felt so bad for taking the pacifier from her daughter so she gave it back. What she really ment to say was “I was so tired of listening to her scream and cry and couldn’t be strick enough to stick with it and put my foot down...so I gave it back to her”

I can’t believe the mother uses “she’s an only child” as an excuse for behaviour. No, dude, the only reason she’s like this is because you *literally* responded to her saying “I can do whatever I want” with an “okay”.
