Ranjit thank you for all your reviews and Happy New Year! On a sidenote, if you record for youtube, do it in 30/60 fps, works better than 50Hz/PAL. Playback will be on phones or monitors, and both are multiple of 60. Yeah 50Hz is dead. Only reason to use it if you deliver footage for BBC/TV. Greetings from Vienna!

I agree with the others. Both have overheating issues but I like the Action 2 now with the magnetic case! Controls overheating for longer recording time

So people who want to do extreme sports with this.. please buy housing.. if you are not comfortable with magnets.. buy a housing that will have go Pro like mount.if you want to waterproof the both modules buy a housing for it..
We can make it go Pro like and use it in extreme sports situation.. but we cannotmake go Pro smaller

I found it really good for adventure activities, it isn't good for recording videos where you are just sitting around. Running, Hiking, cycling and the same are easy to record, this camera was made for "action".
