The english literature was actually easier than i expected but that obviously means the grade boundaries are gonna be high as hell and one of my friends somehow only answered the macbeth question instead of both macbeth and jekyll n hyde so he failed already 🤦

Listening to your macbeth predictions was my hamartia as you were wrong, i have now failed my gcse English lit

😢 I didn’t talk about masculinity enough in my answer for macbeth in lit paper 1. I wrote like one paragraph about his masculinity to some depth explaining how lady macbeth emasculates him and how he proves his masculinity by murdering Duncan then i talked about Macbeth’s guilt gradually disappearing and how he changes from a valiant cousin to a tyrant. Also mentioned how he doesn;t change too much as he retains some things like ambition and paranoia for most parts of the play. Would I get marked down a lot if I didn’t ralk in much depth about masculinity? The question was how does Shakespeare present Macbeth as a male character who changes during the play.

Mr salles, honestly i love you!!!! Macbeth i talked on masculinity being diminished which ruins his morality. for acc i developed your idea on fatherhood as i looked less at the father, but the child - society, who are tarnished by greed. Really was happy, ill send it to you if i get them back after the summer

First of all I would like to thank you for helping so much in regards to English Literature. Any good grades that I obtain would solely be thanks to your help.

However sir, the exam has just passed and i'm really worried as to how much AO2 i should've done on each question. I dedicated around one paragraph of 3 to AO2 (maybe mentioning it in passing in other paragraphs) for both questions and i'm thinking that perhaps it wasn't enough.

Hi sir, if I didn't do any masculinity but focused on Shakespeare trying to please james and preach the warnings of excessive ambition through macbeths downflall and changing character will I lose marks??

Can you please do some possible analysis’ of the question: Explore one other point in the play where Priestly presents a characters entrance or exit is dramatic. (I did about the inspector arriving)

I think I answered the Macbeth question ok but I spent too much time on it and ended up probably losing lots of marks from poetry 😔
