As a retired exercise driver I've sat behind a lot of great horses.You have no idea how big a thrill it is to drive a champion Trotter or Pacer..

Harness racer here :) I would not reccomend trotting/racing/training/etc on asphalt! It can damage the horses legs and especially hooves. (And if it falls down there's less chance of returning to this type of trot ever again. The horses legs will be damaged from the fall since they probably will get scrapes from the asphalt. Horse might not even make it out alive in the worst case scenario.) Don't take this video as advice!!

That horse is in a lot of pain, the metal horse shoes send shocks up is legs, no hate but I suggest you don’t do that on gravel,
