Went from a Intel I7 - 980 and a Amd Radeon HD 7870 to a 7800x3d and a 7900 XTX. That's a REAL UPGRADE AT A 1000% PERFORMANCE BOOST

i had from gt 635m to rx 6750xt.... main reason i didnt go rtx 4060ti is that nvidia control panel sucked and made me log in and then f*cking up random moments with entire laptop. didnt regret it

I'm 31 now and have a dedicated graphics card on my laptop (RTX 4060) for the first time. I grew up without access to any dedicated graphics 😢. When I finally saw Assassin's Creed Black Flag run at full graphics, realizing I could play without experiencing lag and pathetic frame rates, I can honestly say it made me emotional and brought tears to my eyes 😢.

I love to see other people enjoy that kind of experience. I went from 530 integrated graphics on an Ii7 7700 with 8GB of RAM, before dropping in another 8GB and a 1050TI 4GB VRAM and since that was my first dedicated graphics set up it felt huge. 3800x and 5700XT once again felt like a huge upgrade and my current 5950X and 4080 Super with 32 GB RAM was also mind blowing. Everything can be down scale with stupid high frame rates and I can comfortably run three virtual machines at once to practice, networking or penetration testing for fun. When you screw up a lot like I do it’s really nice to have those short times to compile a new project as well.

My first laptop was Intel HD 4000 i3-3110m - it did the job!

I even made a bunch of videos testing games with the specs to help show people if they could run the games, still live on my channel to this day :)

Went from a Intel HD Graphics (no number, the one used in Pentiums 3rd Gen) to a GT 1030. Life changer!

My original PC was an older all-in-one I got for free from my grandfather. It had an AMD A6-3600, Radeon HD 6410D, and 6GB of DDR3. After saving up for over 4 years I built my current PC with a Ryzen 5 5600X, GTX 1660 Super, and 16GB of DDR4. Since then I've upgraded to 32GB and also an RTX 4060 (say what you will about that card, but I'm happy with it and that's all that matters). I love seeing others pull a massive upgrade as well.

I used to have an HP laptop with an Intel Core i3 6th-generation processor, 4 GB DDR4 RAM (with a speed of over 2000 MHz), and a 1 TB HDD that was incredibly slow. It had a 1920x1080p display. I mainly used it for schoolwork and regularly played games like Minecraft. Despite the laptop's limitations, I managed to optimize it well enough to get decent frame rates, but the laptop would get quite hot under heavy usage. Overall, it was a good laptop for me, but I eventually felt the need for an upgrade. Rather than upgrading the existing machine, I decided to go for a new gaming desktop, upgrading from the integrated Intel HD 520 graphics to an NVIDIA RTX 3060!

Now, I primarily use the desktop for intensive gaming, entertainment, and educational content, and I've retired the laptop. I love my new setup!

I got my new Machine at early 2023
