Hands-on review with Samsung's new Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch, 2020 edition, comparing the 41mm and 45mm models to see which is best for you. Both sizes of the Samsung Watch 3 boast a slim and light design, complete with waterproof finish and leather strap. Samsung's own OS may not be as heavily supported as Android Wear, but you still get plenty of apps and watch faces to choose from - while the smartwatch comes stacked with great functionality.

For fitness, you have built-in GPS, a heart rate sensor and SPO2 monitoring. Exercise tracking has improved so now you have loads of stats to scroll through, plus a massive selection of fitness sessions.

The Galaxy Watch 3 is released in the UK soon although the £399 asking price is higher than the Active alternatives and Apple Watch. So is Samsung's wearable one of the best and enough to tempt you? Check out my full review, soon.

For anyone wondering if it fits, measure your wrist at top part (wrist bone to bone) and remove 5 mm (0.19 inch) from it, that is the max size of lug to lug you should wear (lug to lug is the part that hold your strap/band) the lug to lug size of the 45mm version should be 54mm (2.12inch) lug to lug, the 41mm version should be 4.66cm (1.83 inch) lug to lug. If you see this comment please like it so itll help more people pick the correct size for their wrist!

My two questions:

Is heart rate working, or is it still a randomly generated number, that has nothing to do with the actual heart beat, like in the galaxy watch 2?

Did they finally include interval runs?

Gorgeous watches, they will last for years reliability is a 10, built like a tank. They are waterproof Samsung is the best smart watch on the market period.

The Mystic Bronze does look gorgeous! Though I'd of liked the bigger screen version. I have the Active 2 and there really isn't a great deal of improvements and the Watch 3 is pricey!

Hanging onto my galaxy watch 46mm, mainly due to the bigger battery, MST/NFC, sleeker buttons and the only slight incremental upgrades on this new one. Blood pressure & O2 levels are a nice addition, as well as the titanium casing coming out later this year
