I was scratching my head constantly trying to figure out how to expand my castle. I even added a second castle heart downstairs bur stopped halfway cuz it was not sustainable. I feel like a fool for not thinking about the stairs !!

Is there any way to dismantle stairs after you've placed down territory around it? I want to change my wooden ones to stone but it says I can't dismantle stairs that would separate my territory from the heart
