This is a technical problem of cooling in an UPS brand TRUST model PW-4100T of 1000 VA. This is the second UPS of the same brand and model I acquired and both UPS have had the same problem. Maybe your UPS, even different brand and model has a similar problem. Excessive internal temperature, which ends cracking the plastic housing of the battery and causing a breakdown in approximately one and a half or two years later of continuous operation. If you have sufficient knowledge to undertake a modification as this in your UPS, maybe this is the same solution for your UPS. If you have not the neccesary knowledge to do it DON´T DO IT, and ask someone who can help you.
