This was the last song that I sent my father the night before his passing. We always loved to share music with each other. He loved Stick Figure, and we shared a common bond in music. This song is very beautiful but difficult to listen to, due to the waves of emotion that it brings to me. R.I.P. Dad- I’ll always love and miss you dearly.

When 'World on Fire' was released, I remember getting stuck on the first track right away. 'Once in a Lifetime' felt so special, it needed a lot of time for me to fully take in all the elements that made it so good.
It's truly incredible that Stick Figure found a way to recreate that experience with this track.

Bend Oregon…my daughter’s first show the day before her second birthday. Saw you in Tacoma 2 days before and didn’t think it could get any better. Watching her dance to this song and knowing you just added it to the set was my happy place. We’ve been dancing to this song since the day it was released. Not surprising as me and mom were listening to world on fire as she was born during Covid. So much I could say right now but if you know, you know. Thank you Scott.
