James’ second drive in a Carver One for Collecting Cars, perhaps not quite as he had expected but one thing remains the same…the Carver is without doubt one of the most fun cars to drive on public roads!

I wish they had continued the bodywork forward to encompass the front wheel, instead of it looking chopped off abruptly and leaving the wheel to feel like a spare prick at a wedding.

The build quality on the Carver One is amazing, and gives it a quality feel, it’s such a shame that they are no longer made, the Carver S+ electric is not in the same league, it’s a lot less in quality, and it only has a top speed of 49mph but has no torque so quickly loose power going up any average hills, someone should start making the Carver One again 👍🏻😎🥰

I live in the USA and I'm so 'disappointed' that Carver One went out of business. I always wanted one and now that I can afford one (no matter where it's located), they're gone. AND .... hard to find. The only thing left is an 'electric version' that only goes 30 MPH for about the same money as the Carver One sold for .... $30, 000. If I'm going to pay a LOT of money for one, I want it to travel the speed that the Carver One did.

A car is Fun.. not stupid horsepower that you can't use... I have a mate with a Lamborghini.. took him to a track day, and took him for a fang in a i30n and he went oh crap... and smiled from ear to ear... he did 5 laps in his Lamborghini, then we put him in the i30n, and we couldn't get him out of it... driving is experience and fun. Not horsepower.. oh the Lamborghini is now for sale...
