I was extremely lucky to have The best Bell technician on earth at my house. His work was so profound, ethics so polished, knowledge so vast.

He arrived at the job and did not waste anytime to wire fiber optical cable from the telephone pole to my house in no time and with such great neatness.

If you are getting Bell Fiber, i am sharing the process so you understand what it takes.

Bravo to this BELL Fibe technician that was sent to your home. This BELL Fibe technician did an amazing, exemplary, and a professional installation. Excellent work. When I saw the BELL technician near the hydro lines, I was worried for his safety; however, it is evident that this BELL technician is a total professional, who knows exactly what he is doing. This BELL technician should be an instructor or tutor for junior BELL technicians. A lot of BELL Fibe installations near my home are messy with cables running on the grass, in backyards, sometimes on the pavement between neighbours's driveways. If all BELL Fibe technicians were as professional as this gentleman, BELL's reputation would greatly improve.

My Bell fiber technician was nice and made sure all my Bell services were working properly before he left and I'm very happy with my new fiber to the home connection. Thumbs up for the Bell tech who did my install.

I just got Bell 3Gig Symmetrical in my basement a week ago and the tech did a similar job! Same junction box and the feed on the street too! I hit 3.48Gig both ways and I am impressed! Great technician and I love my Fibre Internet so much!

Wow, Bell equipment has gotten much nicer looking over the last couple of years. I have an older set of boxes and they are much bigger and bulkier. The splice box also has a battery backup installed in it that this system doesn't, and the splice box is a fraction of the size of the one I have.

Got this at my home in 2019. I was working for cabling company at the time. I wasn't a tech, but i did spend about 1.5yrs working with our techs. We ran cable all over our local BIG airport, as well as other BIG contracts. When I told our cable techs about the job the Bell tech had to do at my home, outside, int the cold, they almost died! He had to run 50 feet across my neighbour's back yard, another 50' across my backyard, then bring that fibre 135' up to the front of my house. ALONE! OMG!
He was VERY LUCKY! The install was scheduled for the after. He called me and asked if he could come a day earlier, so i said sure. Had he come the day after, the temp would have been minus 15 degrees below zero! Would have been BRUTAL!!! It did take him 4hrs. The temp was a little chilly when he did it, but not so bad. I fed him and tried to help him as much as I could. There's NO WAY my techs would have done a job like that by themself. They're unionized. I let him know I appreciated his efforts.

Thanks for the video. Bell finally offeres a "low" speed fibre to the home service, 50Mbps up and down. This means after almost 30 years on copper DSL I can get off of it! I have had nothing but problems for the last 15 years. Every year I have to have Bell over to troubleshoot the copper. And now, my DSL modem appears to be failing from heat stress. The appointment to install fibre to the home is today. I was curious what the process is so thanks for the video showing how they installed in your house! UPDATE: I am getting a solid 64/62 with the Giga Port. This is a new service tier that is fibre to the home, it is not copper wire. Check bell's plans for your address. if fibre to the home is not available you'll see 50/10 "fibre powered", and if available 50/50 "pure fibre". The tech did indeed install a new fibre line to the pole and jacked into the CO fibre there. Sorry to the nay sayers, you info is out of date.

Hello, I am a telecommunications technician. I have been installing and repairing fiber optics, coaxial, telephone lines and satellite television for 6 years. I am in Colombia and I want to work in Canada. I can apply despite having a basic level of English, which would not be a problem because I learn it.

Question is this procedure put in all the rooms, as I have a tv in my bedroom too, or just the living room?

I am a fiber optic technician and I have been working in telecom since 2008, I have a technical course and other courses in telecom, I dream of being able to work in Canada, but it seems that there are no vacancies for Brazilians.

Tell me, Are the phones to be changed when they install fiber or we can continue with our current equipment.

I have the home hub 3000 now, and use a Netgear wifi extender because my PC desktop is 2 floors above the location of the 3000 router. I'm going to a hub 4000 soon, and wonder if I'll still need the wifi extender. Note that Bell Fiber optic was recently installed in my home.

The best assistance for the techs is not to offer them coffee or anything. Just make sure they have proper access. This includes properly trimmed hedges, trees and garden tools, toys picked up in the backyard. Clothes lines could be quite annoying if they make difficult installing the ladder against the post or the network cables.
