WRC FORUM8 ACI Rally Monza 2021 at the Monza F1 circuit Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy. Formally the Monza Rally Show or Rally di Monza, this event became the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship in 2020, and again 2021.

The WRC is the FIA World Rally Championship, a tough motorsport using rally cars on real roads around the world. Watch the best rally drivers battle on gravel and asphalt roads with mud, rain, dust, ice and heat!

Each rally has timed sections called special stages, on closed roads. Drivers complete these stages as quickly as possible. A co-driver reads pace notes that explain the hazards ahead. Rally drivers use the same rally car to travel to each stage on public roads, following normal traffic regulations. The crew which completes all the stages in the shortest time is the rally winner.

Some of the world's greatest drivers have won the FIA World Rally Championship for Drivers, like Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz, Walter Röhrl, Stig Blomqvist, Petter Solberg, Ott Tänak. The list of world rally champions includes many Finnish rally drivers like Juha Kankkunen, Tommi Mäkinen, Ari Vatanen, Marcus Grönholm, Hannu Mikkola. French drivers have had success with Sébastien Ogier, and 9 times world champion Sébastien Loeb. Famous drivers from other motorsports have come to try rally driving like Ken Block from Rallycross, and Robert Kubica and Kimi Räikkönen from F1.

Car companies compete for the prestigious FIA World Rally Championship for Manufacturers awarded to the most successful WRC constructor. Winners include Citroen, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Peugeot. Ford have had success with the Ford Escort, Ford Focus and Ford Fiesta when the M-Sport team won in 2017.
The 1980's featured the iconic Group B rally cars like the Lancia 037 and Delta S4, Peugeot 205 T16, MG Metro 6R4, Ford RS200 and Audi Quattro.

Whatever the outcome at Monza this weekend, a great career by Seb Ogier. I remember being out at the Sweet Lamb test in Wales in 2008 where he won his 1st stage at the wheel of a WRC car and felt he had a strong future in front of him. My fave Championship successes of his was his 2 titles at Ford in 2017/2018 where after 4 years of sheer dominance at Volkswagen, he had to fight for the success. From this British fan to a French great, Merci Seb 👍🏼

Out of all, I strongly believe and I was emotionally excited is his 2017-2018 seasons with M-Sport. That was delivering the long waited reward to the sweet jolly team in WRC: M-Sport.

Malcom and his team are around in the sport since early 1990s delivering excellent cars at world championship as well as regional and local championships . I hope to see them around for many seasons in the future.

Seb Ogier Career is Quite Unique and Tragic, The Chemistry between him (French Driver) & Citroen (French Manufacturer) always ended with FAILURE and BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. But finds his way to Success with Volkswagen, M-Sport, and Toyota (Which is Special)

But you missed the best part of that Rally Germany controversy! After getting hit with team orders and Loeb getting the puncture to hand back the lead, Ogier said "Good to see there is some justice in this sport" Savage!

The most impressive season was 2019 when his Citroen kept having problems and he basicly went 105% full attack everywhere to make up time.
