Why the EU needs anti-terror pact

With the lack of Europe-wide anti-terror efforts, the EPP Group proposed a package of measures that allows authorities across the European Union to pool their data and efforts to track down suspects. Measures include airline and telecom data as well as stepping up internal and external border checks, while preserving the Schengen open internal borders. Authorities would also fight radicalisation in prisons and schools.
