Given the stakes, and despite the safety record and solid systems in place, it's totally understandable to be nervous for them none the less. God speed!

Zombroski, didn't win. His brother did and gave it to him. What a brother.

The most exciting manned space mission since the first Shuttle flights. I’m so pleased for the crew to be able to participate in this mission. Others before haven’t represented the person in the street as this crew. I wish them all success.

I binge watched the Netflix special, last night.
Brilliant!

I heard they are coming down to 375 KM before they do the re-entry burn so it should actually be a bit lower than the normal ISS altitude. That could tone down your worries about excess speed at re-entry.

Next round, send Tim Dodd or Scott Manley to space. Imagine them doing a livestream direct from space! With Crew Dragon and Starlink it is completely viable.

8:06 I was born in January of 2002 and out of all the years I've been in school I've never been taught anything about space history. Had to learn and teach myself about it so I'm not surprised. Schools don't go over those topics as much as they should.

I can't see Blue Origin ever doing a flight of this sort as Bezos would want billions from NASA or the US government just to stage it then charge the lucky few millions for the opportunity!

Looks like it’s going to launch tonight! Best of luck to the inspiration crew and craft!

I would go further and state it the most critical mission ever launch. A mission to finally prove normal humans can do space.

Most people don't realize that the cell phone they watch these videos on are the result of the developments from the space program, GPS, laptops iPads are all a result of the need to miniaturize computing power. There are so many benefits especially seeing the earth as our home.

Hi buddy, great vid. Regarding the re-entry I believe JI has confirmed it will be a phased re entry bringing the capsule lower before re-entry. Keep up the good work.

It didn't hit me until I watched this flawless launch. SpaceX is the only entity in the world that can do this. Elon can launch anyone to orbit pretty much any time he likes. No oversight other than the FAA flight certificate. No Alliance, no contractors, no subcontractors. SpaceX makes everything including the damn spacesuits. Even the recovery ships are SpaceX. Perfect vertical integration and privately held with no shareholders. No one person has had this much power in the space industry ever. If Starship is successful it's game over. Tony Stark wishes he was Elon Musk.

No one has done more than SpaceX to ensure safety and success if anything bad happened I wouldn't blame them unless I got evidence of negligence
