Hello everyone, Carson here and welcome back to my channel. Now in today's video, I wanted to go ahead and review GoDaddy is WordPress hosting and tell you if it's good value or not. You see, GoDaddy is probably the most well known and popular hosting platform on the market. However, it might not be the best, which is what I wanted to cover in this quick review of if it is good or not.

So let's go ahead and get into the video. GoDaddy WordPress Hosting Review Essentially, GoDaddy is very well known well for their domain, reselling, first off, and as a domain register, but also as a website hosting company. And they are extremely, extremely notable having their ads plastered all over the internet. However, that doesn't necessarily make them a good hosting company. You see, GoDaddy is actually not one of my favorite hosting companies for several reasons, I think they come in under a lot of the more prominent hosting companies on the market today.

A few of these reasons, well, First, and most prominently is the upselling. Although their initial plans do seem to be cheap, and do seem to be reasonably priced. Keep in mind that's reasonably not fantastically priced, but they do seem to be reasonably priced. However, the upselling soon puts a stick in this You see, when GoDaddy sells their plans, they don't sell you all the features you need in one singular plan. Instead, they upsell it. So if you need these extra features, you will have to pay more per feature.

And you can end up paying way more per month than you would if you went with an alternative host, one of which I will actually mention in a minute. Another big problem with GoDaddy is their customer support is notoriously bad. GoDaddy WordPress Hosting Review It might be a problem with how big they've gotten. But their customer support has a horrendous response time and has overall very, very bad reviews, they're known to be a very hit and miss support even on the good days.

So if you're looking for good customer support, and if you're not super confident on your hosting abilities, GoDaddy is definitely not the platform you want to go with another problem is just the fact that for the price, the features they offer just don't really add up. And their performance and uptime are only average. Because of this, I do recommend going with a different type of host or a different hosting company.

Now those company I actually do recommend is going to be something called scalar host and going off of the upsell part where I mentioned that GoDaddy did upsell a lot of their features. scalar hosting does the exact opposite of this having you pay under $10 a month to get access to pretty much every single feature you could ever want.

Now skill hosting is a VPS or virtual private server hosting company primarily, GoDaddy WordPress Hosting Review which is why you're going to notice that price however, the amount of features they give are incredible and you don't get up sold at all you get a free domain name and SSL for all of your websites.
