I am french, 50 years old. I am listening New Music since i was 12 My first listen was YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA and Casiopea. I have never lived or going to Japan but i know many things about New Music (Japan City Pop is an Occident word). This music is special: it's nostalgia with a time who was fun but who did not exist anymore. 1977-1988 are the best years before the economic 1987 crack. I can tell many more about but it's old times young fellows cannot understand. You need to have a full and hard life to feel it, eveb in the 80's it was not this kind of spirit. Sadness is the way to know how joy is so hard to have and keep ❤❤
