I tried these and immediately realized that they were not for me. I ended up getting their revised version of the Polaris and I'm really enjoying the sound. The bass is definitely there, really hits hard!

I have to agree, treble focus is really really there. Had a hard time looking for the right eartips to tone it down. I'll probably just sell it. Do you have other recommendations within the same (or slightly) higher price point?

Thanks for the review. I would have wished they released an entry level 2BA with a more linear response.. Will you be getting the Polaris II??

@currawong Would you do compare this with the campfire comet since they are both entry level iems from campfire? I am trying to recommend an entry level iem for my friend. I have the comet and the vega, and I know the comet has some decent bass for a single BA driver. From you description and my experience with comet, it seems like the comet has more of a neutral sound.

Maybe also give a shot to the ikko iem? As a cheap $140 iem, I have heard good things about them.
