Death Stranding vs Death Stranding Director's Cut

I've decided to highlight key differences between Death Stranding and Death Stranding: Director's Cut, in the wake of Epic Games controversy.

I tried to claim it ASAP when I saw it, but when I clicked "get" the Epic store crashed and when I logged back in, it was the standard version 😭

I only got the standard edition version, because I claimed the game was in the morning when the Director Cut edition game was free by Epic Games in the evening, I was a bit disappointed and sad.. But what else can I do, already getting the game for free is already grateful, rather than not getting it at all.. 👍

I got the base game for free. Paid for the director's cut on Steam years ago. I can natively play this game on my Steam deck works great.

I luckily claimed ghe directors cut by just going to the epic game store(library and switching it to store) since the website isn't working and it took forever to load when i try to open the store.

i am lucky that i even downloaded the game before they could remove it from our library and for me it is working perfectly and it is still in my library. just for safety, i claimed the normal version too.

I couldn't get the director's cut because the servers were down and whenever i tried to get it epic logged me off my account so yeah i couldn't get Directors cut only the standard edition :(

I tried to log in and get it early in the day but the epic store was broken and it being xmas I didn't have time to fuck around on the computer. I return in the night time and had to do a total reinstall of epic launcher to get it to work and lo and behold the directors cut version isn't the free game anymore just the regular version. Whatever.
