Congratulations. You are the first youtube video teaching programming that has white as the background and black used for text. Others use the opposite and it can be very difficult to read. Bought the book years ago and love the approach. thank you for all you do.

I absolutely love your presentation style. You somehow manage to deliver what appears as common sense in such a way that it does not insult me as a viewer! Seriously, these videos are gold.

Amazing how this video is six years old but I’m still learning from it! On study break now and can’t wait to start coding my own programmes

If a python "INSTRUCTION" EVALUATES to a SINGLE-VALUE, it's an EXPRESSION, otherwise, it's a STATEMENT.
2 + 3 EVALUATES to a single value 5, so the 2 + 3 is an EXPRESSION. (instruction or CODE)
2 + 3 is an INSTRUCTION (or CODE) where we have a PLUS (( + )) OPERATOR.
There are two OPERANDS, 2 and 3 are the operands. The '+' operator works on the two operands producing a single value 5

You’re making this experience so fun for me. You sound so calm and audible and easy to understand how you explain, I feel safe to learn
Thank you for all that you do and have done. God bless you and your home.

Thanks soooo much for these videos! My dad's so proud I self-studied Python, little did he know I did it with the ease of Youtube when he did really use pen and paper to do the studying.

Very helpful, thank you. Your tone of voice is very infomercial-like. I want to buy Python fot my entire family right now, plus magical fitness belts.

You are the man.  Just decided to learn to code the other day. 20 videos in and yours is the best.  Thanks.  Straight, to the point, clear, and useful.

I don't know if your a good teacher, a really good student, or one who isn't doing this just to make a video, or one who isn't about any b.s. but this is the best explanation of any programming language that I have gotten from anybody.

After searching online for some time, I am very happy to have found our channel. You provide a very clear, concise and patient approach to this great programming language. Other tutorials seem to just type code rapidly, seemingly more interested in showing off than really explaining anything. Thank you! I look forward to learning more from you.

I purposely paid for your course on udemy, and I was actually blown away. I'm coming from the Squirrel Language. Just trying to get to better places. Most teachers on the internet are not that great at teaching. One of the biggest fails of there's is they teach you as if you know nothing, but teach you as if you know the actual language. It's hard to explain

But your teaching is very different, you get straight to the point! Following along your course I can actually function in Python. The best thing you taught me right off from the biggest thing was syntax, how to indent a function to much more. The syntax in python is weird to me as I'm used to curly braces { some code };.

I'm almost close to finishing your course but I hope to soon finish so I can re go over the course. Tbh I could see you building a basic program that the student can take test in, do small time code to anything really. And after completion releasing the source to the student. Idk your just great buddy!

I'm starting your book, "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python". These videos are a great addition to studying the text. You provide a well-rounded regimen for learning programming that I can't wait to explore further. I am completely new to programming, and happy to latch onto your wonderful resources. Thank you.
