I love that DCA just went to Makers' booths and showed the knives himself!!

LionSteel is always classy. Those flat pocket clips need to become more ubiquitous. The flat profile eliminates hot spots. I appreciate that. Italians make some truly quality products.

They make such stylish and beautiful knives. One of the finest.

Why any companies makes a blade hole with limited access I will never understand. Everyone wants to be able to reverse flick when there's a hole, leave room for it!

Those one piece scale fixed blades are beautiful.

Really digging that fixed blade, regardless of the take-down gimmick.

It’s correct that Tre means 3 in Italian but are you sure that knife is called “Tre” as opposed to T.R.E. as in … Three Rapid Exchange?

I love that fix! Finally something interesting with a good steel, good looking, good size... I hope that they would`t fk it up with the pricing

Quatro looks just like my Kershaw Fringe 😅

Got a t6 and impressed with it. Also looking around for a t5 with kydex sheat.

That Acha is also good looking, but I would thinks twice about hard using/batoning with it. Feels like they came up with an unnecessary solution while creating a (bigger) problem.

Curious to see what this will do in future tests.

about the Lionsteel Q4ttro i dont get why they added a none removable front flipper.
Coming from Germany i always thought Lionsteel did removable flipperrs and thumb studs because of the German (and maybe other countries) knife laws.
In Germany the knife laws are a bit weird you can have a one hand opening knife only when it doesnt lock the blade and vise versa you can have a locking blade only when it is 2 hands opening
So by being able to remove the flipper and thumb studs you would be able to make it legal in Germany but now with an added front flipper which is none removable all nice and good but never being able to carry legal in Germany

I’ve heard you guys talk about Damascus from damasteel, Chad nichols, another company like Tennessee Damascus, as well as some others. How would you rank them as far as toughness and edge retention?

Please give us the hrc, especially on Italian knives, I love Italian knives but I’ve had some very disappointing m390 and elmax from them. A super steel isn’t super if it’s not heat treated properly.

What’s the smaller button lock called? Tween?

No button lock flipper option? What a miss

Why would i want to break down my fixed blade? A normal Lion Steel fixed blade has such minimal tolerances that no serious grime can get in any cracks. This design has a rat-tail tang and screw mechanism that is prone to becoming loose over time.

I was sold on that Acha when you said Magnacut, but m390, eh, plus I’m wondering how that handle will hold up when used hard, like chopping or batoning.

The SR22 and Myto are rough and unrefined with poor heat treat, overly thick blade stock. And generally, Italian knives have poor flipper action i.e. Fox, Viper and Lionsteel. The exceptions are Giant Mouse, Viper Orso and Lionsteels Twain & TRE = Three Rapid Exchange. IMO.

Breaking down a fix blade had got to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. They took a design that by nature can have no moving parts, and can have all solid construction, and what did they do? Oh yes, give it moving parts and take away any solid construction so that you can clean your knife that shouldn’t have ever needed cleaning because it could’ve been one piece in the first place

😂 and how much they want for a rat tail "outdoor" knife. It's 2025
