ClearStream Eclipse Amplified Indoor HD TV Antenna Review

This is my review of the Antenna's Direct ClearStream Eclipse TV antenna. It runs about $60 and claims reliable reception within 50 miles of the broadcast towers. This looks like a great low profile indoor TV antenna but how well does it pick up over the air TV stations?

I got this antenna after Tyler's review and it's working really well for me. In my town (Palm Springs), the inhabited area is flat, the broadcast towers are on a hill under 10 miles away, and just about everything is UHF. This antenna works perfectly here. It's also really easy to reposition and experiment with since it's so low-profile and lightweight. I found my sweet spot, but still just have it up on the wall with blue painters tape. Initially, I was going to get a bigger, bulkier (more expensive) antenna, but Tyler's review inspired me to give the minimalist approach a try first. I had a small flat, square RCA branded antenna previously, but there was no one place that antenna got all the channels. The RCA antenna, though low profile, was bulkier and much heavier than the Eclipse. There was no way you were going to hang the RCA with just a small strip of painters tape. The Eclipse is superior in every way. Tyler, thanks for the reviews and such a cool channel!

I'm a fan of classic antennas the bigger the more elements the more pull the antenna has I love the look of them and seeing how many I fan pull in and turning mine with a wrench the old fashion way
