We've upgraded Adafruit's RGB LED matrix shield with new features, allowing you to seamlessly integrate an HC-06 Bluetooth module and a DS3231 real-time clock module. This enhancement makes it possible to create smartphone-controlled digital scoreboards for sports like cricket and football, as well as other various applications.

If you have an Arduino-compatible board with an ATmega328p chip (such as the Metro 328), SAMD21 (like the Metro M0), ESP32-S2, or SAMD51 (like the Metro M4), this shield simplifies your setup! Just solder on the headers, plug it into your microcontroller board, and easily connect any RGB matrix. The shield takes care of all the complex wiring for you.

For matrices drawing 800mA or less power, you can use the 5V power from the Arduino's regulator. While this isn't suitable for projects with many LEDs active simultaneously, it simplifies wiring for tasks like scrolling text and light LED usage, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. For power requirements of 1 Amp or more, use the 2x8 connector for data and connect a separate 5V 2A or 5V 4A wall adapter directly to the panel.

I have this same exact setup. But nothing is displayed on the board. I checked the continuity on the board, and it seems good.
