Kunjungan Ke UAE Kukuh Hubungan Dua Hala, Erat Silaturahim Dua Keluarga Diraja
ABU DHABI 27 Feb. - KDYMM Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah berkenan berangkat bertemu dengan Presiden Emiriah Arab Bersatu (UAE), Yang Amat Mulia Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan sempena Lawatan Khas baginda ke negara berkenan.
Lawatan khas yang bermula pada 25 hingga 27 Februari itu adalah atas jemputan YAM Presiden UAE.
Ia merupakan lawatan pertama baginda ke luar negara selaku Sultan Pahang selepas tempoh lima tahun di Istana Negara.
Kunjung hormat Kebawah Duli Tuanku itu bukan sahaja mengeratkan silaturahim dua keluarga diraja tetapi berjaya mengukuhkan hubungan dua hala antara Abu Dhabi dan Pahang.
Pada lawatan kerja itu, sebanyak tiga sesi mengadap diadakan dengan dihadiri oleh Timbalan Presiden UAE, YM Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed dan beberapa menteri kabinet UAE.
Kebawah Duli Tuanku turut mengadakan perbincangan bersama Putera Mahkota Abu Dhabi YAM Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Antara intipati perbincangan adalah mengenai Pusat Konservasi Harimau Malaya hasil cetusan idea KDYTM Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.
Baginda juga berkesempatan menunaikan solat Maghrib berjemaah bersama YAM Presiden dan menteri-menteri kabinet di Istana rasmi Presiden.
Untuk rekod, UAE merupakan rakan dagangan kedua terbesar di rantau ini selepas Arab Saudi. - KESULTANAN PAHANG

Al-Sultan Abdullah visit to UAE to strengthen bilateral relations, foster closer bonds between royal families
ABU DHABI 27 Feb. - His Royal Highness Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah had an audience with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in conjunction with Al-Sultan Abdullah's special visit to UAE.
The special visit which began on Feb 25 to Feb 27 was at the invitation of the President of the UAE.
It was His Royal Highness's first visit abroad as the Sultan of Pahang after serving five years as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the Istana Negara.
His Royal Highness visit has not only strengthened the ties between the two royal families but further bolster bilateral relations between Abu Dhabi and Pahang.
During the working visit, three face-to-face meeting sessions were held and attended by the Deputy President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and several UAE cabinet ministers.
His Royal Highness also held discussions with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi HM Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The discussion also touched on the Malayan Tiger Conservation Center which is the brainchild of The Crown Prince of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.
His Royal Highness also had the chance to perform Maghrib prayers in congregation with His Highness the President and cabinet ministers at the Presidential Palace.
For the record, the UAE is the second largest trading partner in the region after Saudi Arabia. - KESULTANAN PAHANG
