Mixed reactions from WA residents to border decision

There have been mixed reactions from Western Australians in response to the state's border announcement.

Premier Mark McGowan on Thursday announced Western Australia's current border controls will remain in place past February 5 due to the Omicron variant.

Mr McGowan has not confirmed when the hard border would be lifted.

This is crazy, Omicron is a gift of nature to likely end the pandemic, boosters will not.

The funny thing is WA has more restrictions in place than NSW.
