Internship at Pangkor Marina Completed : What Next?

VANLIFE OR BOATLIFE? It's been 3 months and we recap what we have experienced here in Pangkor Marina. Not having had any experience in sailing or sailboat ownership, we decided it would be good to learn before taking the leap of buying a sailboat. So we accepted an offer to be based in Pangkor Marina learning on GBT a 48ft Sailboat (C&C Designed built in Canada)

We have thoroughly enjoyed being here but all good things must come to an end. We close Season 7 with this FINALE VIDEO and hope to see you all again in Season 8. What's NEXT?

Our Story
Hi there, we're Sam & Rene - since 2017 we've quit the rat race in order to explore a more simple life. We built a small campervan with a goal to drive it from Malaysia to the UK - the pandemic has changed our plans and we're now based in Pangkor Marina on a sailboat learning about Sailboats and Sailing.

I have sold one of my boat and I will go for a motorhome or campervan. It's too hot in the boat in the sea and it's more dangerous and expensive to maintai when comparing to a van.

Hi Sam and Rene, thank you so much for sharing your journey on Sailboat life. Owning a sailboat and embarking on sailing life has always been a dream of mine but never have the courage to do it. Mainly because of the cost. Now that you have shared some much on your journey of owning a boat I think is doable for an average Joe like me.
