Fun fact, during the civil war and the period afterwards in Spain, "olive sandwiches" (literally just seasoned olives and bread) were a staple of rural Spanish food because scarcity was so bad and that's all many people could afford to eat!

Stuffed green olives like the ones you're using. Yes I know it sounds weird but my sister craved this when she had her last child (in 1980) out of curiosity I took a bite. Been eating them ever since. 😆
