A common theme on the ones you fix that I can see is that people are zoomed so far in to an area to get it just right and are forgetting that the whole image needs the shading to be established before going into the details. Great lessons for all of us!

bro is the goat of art tutorials. his tips are easy to understand and you get to see how they effect the art directly. he also points out what they did right which is really encouraging. and then at the end he leaves it up to his viewers to decide whether he did a good job or not. wish more youtubers were this concise.

It's interesting that the more i go back in parts, the more sarcastic he is. Like back then, he was following the roast trend, but now he just trying to teach and help. He says i like how you did that and this. Explains most of the changes he does. And shows more visuals to explanation helping beginners to understand. That's a great improvement.

I love how you teach people without bashing on their mistakes, but instead praising them for what they did right, it's so satisfying to watch and i believe it makes the artists feel good aswell!

Thank you for complimenting and providing positive reinforcement for the artist and also only using submitted work.
So many of these 'improvement' channels seem more interested in tearing new artists down rather than lifting them up.

This is an AMAZING transformation! You barely changed the artstyle but you made it 10x better with just little changes!

Edit: Tracing DOES help, it helps you figure out important shapes and proportions as well as building muscle memory, but don't completely rely on it for art, use a reference when you have gotten a feel for shapes.

Yes you definitely improved it! I couldn’t even tell it was supposed to be Fiona until you showed the reference. Afterwards it looks just like her!

At this point I'd say becoming a good painter inherently comes with the skill to master any of those "find the difference" puzzles wicked fast.
