Imagine if China did not initiate the BRI. Poor nations will have no help in their infra dilemma. These G7 are suddenly kicked out of the high pedestal and wants to challenge China. Well, the more help the merrier indeed.

If it is value-driven, why only starts it now? What happens to the values in the past 8 years? Can even build its own infrastructure at home, can it build infrastructure for the poor?!

G7 can talk but can't do anything just you hope.

LOL, America itself has no high speed railway at home, all of the roads, highways, airports are falling apart. Before building infrastructures in other countries, maybe focus on your own first.

Love how an Indian anchor is criticizing that it took so long for the G7 to go from words to action.
Where is India's BRI? Oh wait its still a recipient of aid and foreign funds for its own infrastructure needs.

The irony of it is China welcomed the Western Build Back Better World initiative. BBBW actually compliment BRI because it's also about connectivity. Chinese products will be transported more quickly and efficiently. It is no wonder at all that China refused to condemn the initiative.

India leader always making wrong decision. Those old days India close to USSR, then USSR gone. Now India stand by the side of USA, i believe that the US will face the same fate. Covif 19 is mild but India Delta Variant is super strong and defeated all the best performance countries except China. Well done India Virus

with such high and numerous regulations, the price will of course SKYROCKET. Countries will prefer China as it would be economically more viable to them.
