Live plane spotting from Manchester, UK. Live streaming from the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. Currently using dual runway ops at MAN, catching landings and take offs on two separate runways. The second busiest of the airports in the UK behind London Heathrow (LHR). We livestream the aviation live action multiple times a week, our usual schedule is:

That's a "snowy takeoff" in Birmingham! 😉
'Even in 'the deep south' of Canada, (Windsor Ontario is just North across the Detroit River from 'The Motor City - Motown USA) that could be an August day!
I lived 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle on Igloolik Island Nunavut where the all time record high temperature since the 1960s at the Environment Canada weather station (met office!) is 23 C!
In 2013 it snowed three times during August that completely covered the tundra and lasted for more than 24 hours!
During the dark of winter ATR 42 turboprop service only was limited below minus 45 Celsius & DHC Dash 8 100 service was somewhat limited below minus 50 Celsius. At those temperatures at almost 70 degrees North latitude, we often experienced winds at 20 to 30 knots so we would have also been dealing with Wind Chill values in the high minus 60s Celsius or low minus 70s!
Of course our IGLOOLIK AIRPORT YGT /C-YGT runway is gravel (during the brief summer) & packed ice/snow at least 9.5 months of the year (with a blue dyed ice strip down the centreline!

So, there's no issue with slippage on wintry runways? Like, no black ice or nothing? I saw a plane getting sprayed with an orange substance where I live before it took off. There was snow blowing around with windchills. How cold can it be before planes don't fly? And, what was that orange stuff I saw sprayed on the plane? 🤔
